Since joining Data SEA , Fauzan has applied his background in statistics and data science to tackle new challenges and deliver strong data solutions for clients, while also developing his data engineering skills and broadening his expertise.

Prior to joining Data SEA , Fauzan worked in data analytics across domains such as banking, loyalty programs, medical startups, and sports. Through co-op placements and personal projects, he gained valuable experience in task automation, building dashboards and interactive apps, and predictive modeling—always tailoring his solutions to the unique requirements of each dataset.

Fauzan is in his final year of Honours Mathematics at the University of Waterloo, majoring in Statistics. His coursework and projects with the university's sports analytics club have strengthened his skills in Python, SQL, and R. He also volunteers as a data scientist with the varsity basketball team.

Outside of work, Fauzan enjoys playing and watching hockey, playing basketball, and spending time with his family
