Since joining Data SEA Consulting, Sophia has brought a problem-solving mindset and a design-driven approach to developing data solutions. She is committed to expanding her knowledge of data engineering and analytics consulting to deliver solutions that drive real client value.

Prior to joining the Data SEA team, Sophia completed multiple co-op terms in software and data engineering. Her experience includes building machine learning models, leveraging cloud technologies to create user-centric solutions, and developing ETL pipelines. She is proficient in SQL and Python and has experience working with a range of web frameworks.

Sophia is in her fourth year of Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo. Throughout her academic career, she has leveraged technology to inform design decisions, allowing her to build prototypes and solutions tailored to stakeholders' needs.

Outside of work, Sophia enjoys going on long runs, kayaking around Toronto Island, and watching Blue Jays games.
